Broken Beautiful: Potsherds in Pueblo Pottery
I interviewed Native American Art Historian Dr. Aaron Fry and contemporary Pueblo Potter from Ohkay Owingeh Professor Clarence Cruz on all the ways broken pieces of ceramic pottery represent and connect Pueblo people to the land, to history and their ideology.
These interviews are part of the Albuquerque Sound Booth in the exhibition Visual Sound at Central Features Gallery in downtown Albuquerque, NM, April 24-June 6, 2015.
