Patience Stone

Lithographs created as artist-in-residence at Penland School of CraftsWinter 2012

On one block of limestone, I let the water dry naturally on the stone after I went through the intensive process of leveling and grinding the stone. Then, I etched and inked the shape of the water, made two prints, and repeated the long process of removing the etch and re-preparing the stone for the next one for each of the six prints. Great effort, little return.
