Exploring the idea of surrender— a balance between being in and out of control— through the creative process of making. The work expresses a struggle, a few moments of transcendence and then shifts back to the struggle. Through the piece, a meditative quality emerges between the control and release, acknowledging a beauty in the pendulum.
